I think black rims would be too much--just my opinion tho.

I am probably not going to black them out. It was a thought to keeping them but re vamped to celebrate the Black!

I have found out that i can drop an inch of tire height at the front by going to a 265x60x16 That might allow me to drop the 2" body lift out and bring the torsion back down an inch giving 4" drop in the front from as it sits and i still have 1" i can drop the rear shackles so that will give me 3" in the rear without looking to change to 17" wheels with low profile performance tyre.

That way i can use my existing tires up on the rear and then go 265x60x16 on the rear to match the front and give me the 4th inch of drop in the back aswell!

I dont use the 4x4 so i wont have to worry about winding the diffs up with the 1" difference in rotation.

Rach was punishing me on my ability to waste money on wheels and tires so i am trying to be resourceful and use up what i got Hehe

When you go to the different size tire in the rear, do you think you'll have a large gap between the tire and the wheel well?

Hey so im starting to work out how to take the 2" body lift blocks out.
Can anybody tell me please? I am looking at the front bumper.
Will i have to have this bracket chopped and re-welded 2" lower?
Looks as though it has been chopped and lifted previously.

underneath there has been a lift plate fabbed to allow the bumper bracket to secure 2" higher. That is easy to remove.

Tomorrow is the big day for the old girl!
Finally getting the roof painted and repair some rusty bits along the top of the windshield!

I bought it like this and it has been on the list of to do since purchase.
It is going to cost $2200 all up.
Paint has crazed so it will be going back to bare steel before painting.

Im just going to wip the hub caps off as mike is going to take the wheels off possibly so as to make it a more comfortable height to work at.

We sold 800 ish salami at the Christchurch Food Show a couple of weekends ago!
Lol now I'll blow that money on a roof job

Saw these on a local trade site!
Tinted Headlight covers!
Am going to save some pocket money get them.will look pretty mean on black!
Am going to do the deflector for the bonnet at some stage too.

Will replace my monsoon sheilds too at a later stage.
Is going to freshen up the plastics nicely.
