Looking good. Now maybe you can rent out that tool to recover some funds.
You know,I had the very same thought in mind!
It will get used again when I rebush the front end.
Cant believe how easy it was to change those keys out!
Lol 1st check and I had it wound down 4"s!!
2 on the key and 2 on adjustment.
She was rubbing in the front badly!
Pretty happy at the moment.
Great to start getting her how I want hèr

Here we are. Just pulled her out of the cave.
Bit of a rake but okay for now as is empty of petrol and no load in the rear.
Keep in mind I am going to refit stock body mounts as currently on 2" lift and am going to drop 2" by changing from 285 x 75 x 16 to 265 x 70 x 16 tyre. After that I will revisit the rake and maybe get the leaves leveled.

Will probably unbolt rear jounce stops and fix a new stop to the frame.
Very happy with this small change.
Gonna go for a roll and get some air in that rear tyre. Has a leak. :driver:

And check her out!! Just picked her up from the tyre shop. What a change! Both in look and drive. Is 5"s lower now but kinda looks the same with the lower profile tyre. Loving it!!!

A buddy has had my front air dam for a couple of months since a 4x4 trip that I broke and cracked it.

He does a bit of plastic welding and offered to fix it for me.
20240209_153314.jpg
Just finished giving it a sand and threw some paint at it.

Is a quick dry paint so will let be for a while and then I'll get it back in place.

Looking great man!! Good work.
Hi Sam!
Thanks man!
Lol it has been a long time thinking about changing the Suspension and things on her.
I was going to go for a blackout look with new wheels.

Yhis was going to be my wheel choice.
$830 each and 2 months by sea to get here from your country.
After a lot of thought I realized that what I was really needing was the 2" drop that the 20" performance tyre would allow so I could lower the Suspension a couple of inches.
I came to the conclusion that all I needed to do was find the right tyre for what I had and i could keep the Mickey's on there.
They are pretty tuff and i dont want to lose them. :D

Hi how are ya's
Took the Beast for a 400 mile run to Murchison and back last weekend to join in an annual farming family day
You can see her hiding in the shade behind our stall.
The Rig handled much better with the 5 inch drop I have recently put her through.

Apart from the steering idler giving up.

Think it has been on the way out for a while. Definitely finished off on this trip!

A replacement should be here on Monday.

I also ordered a Master bushe kit and a bushe tool to do the arms with.

Will do the front sway and put the new link rods in that come with the kit.
When time allows i'll do the body mount replacement soon too.
That may drop the body an inch or 2 onto the frame.

When I purchased the Yuke over 4 years ago the previous owner told me that she could do with new plugs.

just putting new idler in today.
Greased the knuckle on the arm.
Do these new idlers need grease now or are the pre greased?
Can do once installed if I need to do now.
