Hello everyone,
First off, thank you all! This forum has been a great knowledge base
I recently got my hands on a 1995 Tahoe with a 4" body lift and a 4" suspension lift
It also came with a nice set of FUEL wheels and a brand new set of 315/70R17
I have been playing with it in the desert, but it seems that the front shocks are not working anymore... When I try to go straight on a piece of flat, soft sand, it bounces all over the place and I need to make corrections constantly. Anyways, I have searched this forum for shock opinions and it seems that the Bilsteins 5100 are a favourite.
My questions are:
- Will the Bilsteins do for desert drive, or should I go for something stiffer?
- Should I stick with the torsion bars, or should I start searching for coil-suspension replacement mod?
Thank you in advance for your time
