I asked several questions about the truck and paperwork and he said the truck is likely not for me. I was "expecting too much", according to him. I expected nothing except what I saw and what he freely said. He said he is retired and buys, fixes up and resells trucks.

He has probably dealt with some of the....um....little darlings I've had to deal with. I offered a guy looking for a cheap ride one of my cars at what I have in it. His return offer was $450. I spent more than that on new tires. I've seen stuff with the drive train missing for more than what I was asking.

In the end, I let it all slide. He says he is also a Vietnam Vet. I hate when people assume things. The fact that he did not seem to like questions, means he is likely hiding something, IMO.

When I recently sold my girl's 1990 K2500 LD Silverado with 131K miles, I posted as many pics as could, asked if needed more pics, just tell me what you wanted. Shared that we had 2" thick stack of repairs and maintenance paperwork and even supplied driving videos. I sold that truck for $10k, because it was worth that.
