That factory radio is just so freaking cool. Not sure if I have ever seen one of that style since so many got swapped out for aftermarket CD players and such..... Funny what pops out to different people on super well kept vehicles such as Big Brown. The perfect condition switch gear on the HVAC and door cards is also pretty incredible as well.

I have always loved the Vacuum Florescent Displays that GM used in the dash, HVAC, and Radio through the years. GM's were always richer and deeper than other manufacturers during the VFD heyday...... Nobody uses them anymore and now (to me) they seem special. I think the GMT800 was the last to have them and is the main reason I would never put in an aftermarket radio in my 04 Tahoe.

Got a pic of it turned on? Might help it sell tbh since it's fairly unique to still have it.

Any pics of the new acquisition?
Prelim pics of new truck. 6.0 engine, 4L80E transmission, crew cab, leather, new BF Goodrich K02 tires, spray in bedliner, locking roller bed cover, 2nd owner and seller is the dad of my shop owner friend and has been taken care of very well by them both. Has only had 20k miles put on it in last 7 years. has 118k miles on it now. The body is showroom floor condition and have a complete CarFax of 1st owner history with religious maintenance and no wrecks.

Well it appears I may have a buyer for after the holidays. My girl is in Texas till after Xmas and the possible buyer is gone till after New Year. He is retired and likes the GMT400's. He is about 1.5 hours from here but still in Oregon. I am going to wait till my girl gets back and then do a driving video for the possible buyer. I will post a link here when I do it.

I got surprised today after posting the cold start and driving videos yesterday, here and at the GMT400 Forum and even at the Silverado/Sierra Forum, of the 1990 K2500 and there have been no questions at all. I am not saying at all that there would be a rush to buy the truck. I am just surprised of no questions.

I agree with you. I have a long detailed ad at CL and now the videos, I think I covered it all. Plus, the paperwork we have tells a story.

Well, progress has been made. Guy in the ARMY and getting out on Feb, 7. Will be here to pay $9500 cash to buy truck by no later than Feb. 10. Coming here from Reno. His dad sent me a certified letter today, got the tracking number, from Reno with $500 deposit to hold the truck till Feb. I said as soon as the personal check clears the bank, I will hold truck. Supposed to be here Tuesday. Looks like the truck will be gone within a month for the price of $10k.

Turns out the buyer and his brother drove here, instead of taking the bus. They called me from the road last night and decided to pull over and rest overnight and drive in this morning. Should be here around 11 a.m. I talked to him already this morning and are on the road here. Pics when they show and drive away.

That truck is worth every penny !! The buyer knows the value. ( My only suggestion.... Replace the window washer motor to the slightly, newer design. It's a bolt on swap, no modifications.... I did it on my (sold - $4,500.00 ) '88 C2500. The older ones will eventually glitch.

I sold mine with 397,000. Went to a collector in Germany..... He is very happy..... Not a single problem, since he bought it 6 years ago. ( 4th photo..... The collector in Germany repainted the truck, keeping the factory colors )

Your old truck has the same color combination as the truck am selling today. The existing washer fluid pump does work great now and the squirters spray great and even. I will make him aware though. As I have said, gonna strongly suggest that the buyer join this forum.
