Your truck has more of a 'golden' brown color.... Mine was a darker metal flake brown ..... nice truck.. You'll miss it in a couple years. The German collector re-did the paint, added original mirrors, .... Original color as it always was.

My girl, the owner, is in Texas and she misses it already. I sent her the video and she cried and cried.

Not my daughter. She is MY girl.
I do agree that the truck was and is a great truck. She wanted safety air bags and the 1990 did not have them. That is why I bought the even better truck.....2004 Silverado K2500HD with the 6.0 engine and the 4L80E transmission. Crew cab and this truck is pristine and we are the 3rd owners and got previous owner paperwork.

I agree.... As she drives the '04 truck, she'll miss the old truck, but will LOVE the '04.

Biggest thing for her is visibility. She could see just fine with the 1990. She is only 5'4" tall. In the 2004 she initially did not like it because she could not see comfortably. Then I showed her the seat adjustments and the seat memory controls. The seat, where her ass sits, lifts up in the front and back and the seat back wraps and tilts and now she loves it. I get out and all she does is use her key fob to unlock the door and, if need be. touch "1" on the memory pad and the seat adjusts for her and away she goes. She was worried about the length but with crew cab, we measured and is only 18" longer. The mirrors are only about 2" wider on each side. She is getting better and better with it.
Me personally, I always wanted a GMT800 truck. I love the truck.
By the way, the forum owners here gave me permission, to invite any and all members here to join the GMT800 Forum. The same owners. The GMT800 Forum has members there that came from here and from the owner's other forum GMT400 Forum.

The reason he was stopped for about a minute before finishing his right turn, was because he expected to see his brother waiting for him and the brother had already went to the light and turned left, like I told both of them to do. The brother pulled away while he was turning around before leaving.

Very sad to see you sold that beautiful truck. It looks like it may have gone to a great home.
I can only imagine the feelings your girl is going through during this time, though. I would be crying my eyes out watching that video of it pulling away.
I do congratulate you on a very nice find on the GMT800! Looks like you definitely helped soften some of the blow of selling the GMT400. Both are great trucks!!

Yea, when she drove the 2004 K2500HD, I watched and she had a smile. The seat adjustment really made her feel comfortable and able to see great. Plus, the power gave her the "tickles".
I think she'll grow to like the '04; it'll just take some time.
And she'll have fond memories of the one that's moved to a family that will likely take good care of it.

She already likes the 2004 better than her 1990, BUT, she wished she could have both but understands. She really likes the 2004, a lot.
The new 1990 owner will be sending pics of what he does to it and is also joining the GMT400 Forum.

The "Big Brown Beast" new owner is a p*r*i*c*k.
Here in Oregon, when you sell a vehicle, the tags can go with the vehicle. There was about 3 months left on the tags stickers when I sold the BBB. He said he lived in Reno and would be getting new tags. I did all the paperwork and did a Bill of Sale, thankfully. In September we get a notice from the DMV of Ma., that we owed close to $50 for overdue toll booth fees. They supplied a pic of the BBB going thru the toll booth with "EXPIRED TAGS". The new owner never switched ownership.
We supplied copies of the Bill of Sale, the Release of Liability from the state of Oregon DMV-when we notified them of the sale, the cancellation of the truck insurance-when it was sold and a copy of the expired tags registration and then the DMV of Ma. did release us of any liability.
We also did a search of the owner in the Reno area and found his dad and a FB account and supplied that to the DMV of Ma.
The impressive part was that the BBB, was well taken care of by me, and made it to the east coast and who knows where else. To this day, my girl misses that truck.
