I needed another car like I needed another hole in the head but I am now the proud owner of a 1955 Chrysler. I'm helping the seller settle his parents estate. I paid $1 for the car and brought it home. When I sell it, half the profits will go to a charity of his choice. I may not clear much, but the car had to do somewhere and he didn't want to see it junked.

They bought it in 1966. In 1968 his family bought a newer car and it was parked. His mother would start it once a week until it didn';t start. It then sat until yesterday. He was born in 1971 and never saw it move until I started pulling with hand winches. It took near 7 hours, but we eventually got it loaded.

It's more solid than I thought. It does have some, but not like most of these got. I'll post another post with more pictures since the site limits what I can post.

I'm going to list it at $3000. The more I do to it, the less room to talk. It will have a clear Indiana title in my name and some tires that have some tread and hold air. It has a mix of Bald Eagle and Maypop tires on it now. I forgot how much we stretched a dollar back then. I've got bulges on one tire. Here's some looks at the car from besides right next to it.
