Thats right. 17x8 Cragar Soft 8 4.5" backspacing and 0 offset part # 3978860 They fit just fine. There is enough clearance to clear caliper. I installed Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2 265/70/17 like i had on 07 Tahoe LTZ
I did order Cragar center caps 4.250 part # 29271-1 but i didnt like them because they are too tall and they have some play when installed on Cragar wheels. So i got some chrome Sierra center caps part # 20941992 that comes on 05-16 17" painted or chrome skinned wheels and lug nuts with external threads part # 9595175
I did this because i like my OEM 22" chrome multi spoke wheels and didnt want to ruin them with salt, plus wife is gonna drive it over the winter and dont wanna get any phone calls that she is stuck in snow with her 09 Altima. Im profesisonal truck driver and If it was for me and if i didnt care about stock 22s i would drive in RWD mode with 22s all winter long but didnt wann take chance because wife is gonna drive it
Here is a few pics without and with GMC center caps, also these is pocs of Cragar chrome center caps

Police look is a good look LOL

Seriously though there is no reason to mess up 22s in the snow and salt

I like that! Any reason you didn't go slightly wider on the tire?

I'm looking to do this but with some methods and m/s michelins or coopers...

How's the ride? Is it much softer and more comfortable?
Significant float?

Much more comfortable. I do the same setup. 22 in summer and 17 for winter. Ride is not as stiff and takes bumps and pot holes better. More tire than rim makes a big difference

I had almost same setup with 07 Tahoe LTZ, Blizzak DM-V1 on 06 17" Z-71 and just like Tahoe Denali is much softer on patholes because of more sidewall and its comfortable but its not stiff in the curves like low profile 22"
Reason why i didnt go with Cragar 17x9 is i didnt wana to have wheel sticking out much pass fenders. If these wheels have more positive offset like OEM, 17x9 would work

Police look is a good look LOL

Seriously though there is no reason to mess up 22s in the snow and salt

After i saw at local dealer OEM chrome wheels on 14 Denali that was imported back from Canada with only 15k miles i didnt wanna take chance and mess up my chrome wheels

People will move out of your way or be hesitant to pass you on the highway
