'11 Tahoe Transmission Fluid....Change?

I seem to be addicted to posting as of late.

Okay so I have a 2011 Tahoe, 4x4, with 105,000. I am not sure it has every had the trans serviced. I bought it at 65,000 miles. I would like to do a filter and fluid change. Would it be wise to do so? I have no slippage, nor any other trans related issues.

yep , just for 'insurance' i have 88k and planing on doing in spring time , just drain and filter , 'old " school type service

What color is your fluid? Smell burnt? If not, still some red, it should be good to go. It's going to be a pain with the exhaust in the way. Against thirty years of doing it old school, I had the dealer use their TransFlow machine on mine and it worked out just fine, back flushed the pick up screen and exchanged all the fluid out.

This. The one and only time in the last 4 years I took my Suburban to a dealership was to do a trans flush. Think it was like $200, but for me, it was worth it.

My Sierra Denali is up to 89k miles. As it approaches 100k, I'll bring it in as well for a flush.
