09 Tahoe / Nav / Radio seems very LOW for a bose

I have the non lux nav radio. seems the CD is twice as loud as the XM or FM radio. Is this standard or do i have a problem with my head unit/amp?

it happens in mine to and I have an upgraded system. i think the frequency of the radio or sumtin like that thought the XM would have a better signal though.

It's pretty much normal. You'll find too that the aux input has a low volume as well. Another factor is how the tracks on your CD's are recorded. If the tracks are recorded at a higher volume, then they will be louder at an equivalent volume setting than FM or XM.
