07 Yukon Denali head unit replace

I pretty sure the answer is yes but have been getting conflicting answers. I have a non navigation Bose radio in my Yukon and want to install an aftermarket double din navigation/DVDs radio. I keep getting told by crutch filed when researching that it won't fit but no reason why.

Alpine makes a bad ass 9", that's what I'm going to be putting in my 08 denali and it comes with a specific kit for gm dash

Yes you can install any double din you want

My buddy has a shop here in socal and did my brkthers for 1800 installed. Said mine would be the same in a few weeks when he gets it.

That's still a huge chunk that. If I had that amount of do the handling/lowering package from tbss and also get a good double din b
