I noticed my carpet getting wet on the drivers side of my 07 YDXL in the front and back along the sill plates. It really soaks into the padding, luckily it doesn't smell bad, yet. I pulled out the sill plates in front and rear and put towels in between the carpet and padding, and padding and floor and got it all soaked out. When it rains hard and I drive, it gets wet again. I was trying to figure out if it is on the front windshield seal, or maybe on the rubber door seals. The door seal seems to be one contiguous piece that runs up around the front door and covers the rear door as well. It is unlikely there is a hole in the floor letting it in as the vehicle is in pretty good shape. I could begin by replacing the door seals I guess as they seem a bit dry rotted. if anyone has an opinion where to begin and who or what type of business (auto body shop, GMC dealer, ?) I should have do this, let me know. Thanks!
