07 Tahoe, which leveling kit to get?

I want to purchase a leveling kit for my 07 Tahoe, and was originally going to go with a ReadyLift 1.5" kit, but don't know? I kept searching for other kits, companies, ebay etc.... ReadyLift is a little pricey at $229, eBay has billet kits just like ReadyLift for $80? Do I go 1.5" or 2"? I need to order something soon, but I need some input.

Go to ebay and search CCM Offroad, I know Dan has a store on there. I would recommend the 2.5" front 1" rear kit. His kits are very stout and probably one of the most used out there.

Unable to find that kit on ebay.... How is that kit with alignment? Can you get it to spec without any additional parts? Also, I know you guys will cringe when I say this, but I have a Plow on my Tahoe, what do you guys think of a lift kit with the plow? (its a Boss sport duty, light weight).....

Can't say much about plows....but I have the 2.5"/1" CCM kit, as well. The alignment needed just a small change and CV angles are acceptable. There's no friggin way I'd pay $229 for a 1.5" kit. I don't think you'd be at all satisfied with only a 1.5" kit--the cost and amount of work is just not worth it. IMO go 2.5" front/1" rear or leave it stock.

2ELO- I have a 2WD also, whats the optimal size of tire that i could get with a 20" inch rim on that leveling kit?

Has anyone hear done a 6" suspension lift on these tahoes (2WD)?

I'm not sure where you got your information, but my Tahoe is 4WD.

If you do the leveling kit you'll be able to fit a 33" tire without major modification to your wheel well and/or plastic liners.

I assume that you're referring to the front spacers....??? The CCM welded spacer is extremely heavy duty....IIRC, CCM fabricated the spacer using significantly thicker sheetmetal (1/4" steel) than the flange on the OEM strut mount. As long as you go with a quality company like CCM, the welded spacer is MORE than adequate.
