06 Tahoe Blower stays on

I see the 03 thread below, and probably should have just asked my question there. My blower stayed on the other night, and killed the battery. I pulled the fuse, and got it home. I changed the blower motor resistor, replaced the blower fuse, and now the control doesn't come on. Does the module power up the panel too? I checked the fuses, and didn't see any blown ones.

Module does NOT power the control panel. All module does is feed a variable voltage to blower to acquire variable speed which is based on a control signal from your control panel. Doublecheck your power feed to control panel. Check your fuses again.

maybe you accidentally unplugged something, I would double check everything if everything is good then disconnect the new resistor and see if it comes back on

I've just replaced it this past weekend. The part at that ebay link is the cheapest I could find.

Labor takes about 30 mins - 1 hour , and requires sockets 7mm, 5.5mm, side cutters and electrical tape.

Unless the blower motor is locked up or motor windings are burnt open......
