I'm helping out a friend with her '04 Tahoe. I don't have all the details but she says the front HVAC blower doesn't come on at all. I'll get a good look at it sometime this week, but wondered if anyone knows what the max amp draw should be when testing the blower motor by direct 12v.
I'm not sure if it has rear heat but it's a pretty plain Hoe so I doubt it. She does have the manual heat controls, but I don't think that matters as far as the blower motor goes.
I'll check the multiple fuses, the blower resistor, and the blower motor. Of course the resistor is the most common issue but I need to check everything first so we're not throwing parts at it, and I want to be sure the blower motor is not drawing too much.
