03-06 center console in 01

My center console in 01 is falling apart and was thinking of putting in the 03 to 06 console. Any thoughts, worth it or to big of a pain in the ass??

you can swap entire consoles, but you must swap the lower portion of your dash for it to line up correctly. While you're doing that, swap out your dash bezel and do the double din radio upgrade as well.

you talking about where the 3 aux plugs are? the 03-06 center console covers those up right? i've been thinking of swapping mine out too. i just haven't priced one out yet.
