i picked up a 2011 SSV and i am going through the process of removing all the lights, radios and the utility console they had in it, so that i can install the original console back in. ive got pretty much everything out, but i am down to a few wires that 1) look like they cut the trucks wiring, and 2) runs up behind the dash and i cant trace them. i also found this empty plug zip tied up under the dash...not sure what its for. curious if anybody has a clue? i ran out of time today, my next step is to break out the volt meter. looking to see if any of this is needed or could be used to hook up the accessory outlets in the factory console.

Refer to the attached document it should shed some light on the wires you are talking about

That middle photo of the brown wire is missing the OEM black male and female GM connectors which were cut off by the "up-fitter" installing the emergency controls. They are you horn wires. If they are not looped you likely have no horn. The large blue connectors are for your front door speakers/Police radio options. More may be hidden under the dash, HVAC cover, kick panels or under to floor coverings. Go slow and don't don't be tempted to remove too much. Do tape off any wires you are not sure are dead. Re-start your Tahoe during each step to make sure you are not disabling any "unique" or oddball wiring and isolate potential problems. Bowtie Bob
