Here's the situation...

I need new shocks and I want to do a 2/3 drop.

Here's what I'd like:

A softer ride... not harsh at all or bone jarring. This is a family ride.

So, can this be done?

You can but your ride won't as smooth compared to do doing either spindles OR the Belltech 2" drop struts up front.

Never heard of 'drop struts'?

Belltech part number 25003. Norcall SS sells them along with numerous other sources. If you've got some miles on your Hoe anyway they are worth the money and allow you to lower your ride and keep that stock ride quality. :waytogo:

Yes, you definitely need to look into those struts then. They ride great and you'll see a HUGE improvement over your beaten 168k mile shocks you have up front now.
