Hey all, I'm looking at a hidden winch mount. The listing says it will work on an 01 Sierra but not on an 01 Yukon. Can anyone explain why it wouldn't work? Are the frames too dissimilar?

Based on this video..

I would say it comes down to the bumper plastics being in the way.. Other than that, I cant think of any reason.

@TollKeeper I would agree if he had a 2003+ but aren't the 2001 truck and 2001 suv front end basically the same? I'm sure whatever winch mount he is speaking about could be used with light modifications if any

Not sure on that one, never really looked at the front end of a yukon..

Based on those pics, I think you might be right.

I think they may have wanted to differentiate because of the plastics used on the upscale Denali, Esky, and ChooChoo Customs.
