Anyone out there built a box like this???? I think it can be accomplished without paying $600 or more....I might try and order the instructions and see if I can get some dimensions to try and do this on my 01 Yukon.

I am sure its alot of work, I owned one of these in a suercrew I owned and loved it, I got lucky and paid about $200 but I would have paid double that, they sound excellent and hide well.

I've got a thread going about almost this exact same thing. If you have any luck building one let me know I'm in 03 yukon and want to go all hidden subs as well.

Yea I've seen the thunderbox but I'm on a budget so my custom box will be cheap and look ****** but if I take the time to put it in then that shouldn't matter since it will be hidden

well there is already a stock sub in the dash somewhere stock with bose system. so if u can find it put a bass ass jlw6/8in in there and a nice amp and u will be ballin lol

For the OP (00-02) there is no sub in the front. It's in the left rear panel.

This is what i have but with a thunder 4500 in it
Its the loudest single ten set up i have ever heard/felt
definitely louder than a 10" bazooka tube, or any of bazooka's specific enclosures and its much cleaner sounding

Yea thats hella expensive......not to mention all the work to install it correctly. Someone could undercut them and make bank if they could get a solid/affordable setup. Because I'm not spending 550 on a setup like that.
