    Replacement Seat Foam?

Hi all. I'm finally breaking down and getting new front seat covers for my 2002 Yukon Denali. The passenger seat cushion is in decent shape, but the drivers is pretty flat. I've tried to find replacement foam with no luck. I believe the GM part number is 88939304, but it was discontinued a...

Thanks for the instructions! About the information center and trim. I gave mine a good tug and it didn’t budge. I’m afraid it’s going to snap. You mentioned these are just clips? Just a trim removal tool should do it?

    Center Console Removal Procedure

I’m looking at removing the center console in my 2002 Yukon Denali. Does anyone know how it attaches on the dash side? If there are screws behind the area where the disk changer and “computer” is, how are they accessed? Thanks in advance.

    Service Ride Control

Hi all. I recently changed front shocks on my 02’ Denali. A few days later, I get a Service Ride Control message. The shocks I replaced were the factory shocks, not air shocks and did not have a integrated ride height sensor. There was some weird cap connection on the top post of the shocks...

    Its Cheaper to Keep Her

Thanks everyone for the ideas. Here`s where I'm at right now with all of the ups and downs. As I mentioned in the opening post, I had a new 6.0 crate installed. The transmission was serviced, new oil lines and knock sensor. This totalled $6,100. The black paint job ran me $3,100. This...

    Its Cheaper to Keep Her

So I was recently faced with the decision most of us have faced. To trade in your beloved vehicle for the latest, or commit to the potential aggregation of a high mileage ride. My 2002 Yukon Denali tripped 320,000, and was leaking/burning more oil than I was comfortable with. The black paint...

    P0420 Code

Well...after 320k miles, I'm now getting a P0420 code, whiich translates to the catalytic converter efficiency. At the advice of my mechanic, I've tried a bottle of CataClean, but the code refuses to stay cleared. Can anyone offer any words of wisdom in Terms of tackling the replacement? Is...

    2002 Denali-Trans Temp Gauge Bouncing

The trans temp gauge in my 2002 Denali bounces up and down from 100 to normal. When I say bounce, I don’t mean changes in temperature, but fast enough to mean erratic connection. Should I start the sending unit or gauge?

ABC Light and Speed Sensor Code

I forget the number, but it was "Right Front Speed Sensor". When I first started this fiasco, I had both the abs and brake light with 2 codes. The speed sensor and The second was ebcm fault. That is why I sent it off for rebuild. When I reinstalled the brake light went off, and the second...

ABC Light and Speed Sensor Code

So just an update, the aggravation continues. Since the old girl has 290k, I decided to replace both front wheel bearing hub assemblies (speed sensors included) with new Moogs. Needless to say Im unhappy the abs light still comes on immediately after startup, but I still consider it money...

ABC Light and Speed Sensor Code

I have a 2002 Denali with an ABS light that come on a few seconds after starting the engine. The code is right front speed sensor. I have replaced the sensor but still have the light. Sometimes at low speed the light will go off, and I can feel the ABS pulsing in the pedal. Given the light...

    Defrost Damper Not Working

I was afraid you were going to say that. It seems that although I can get some air on the floor and and through the dash vents, It never seems to fully direct the flow (and never through the defrost). I haven't been able to find any diagram to help figure out what maybe going on.

    Defrost Damper Not Working

I have a 2002 Yukon Denali and recently the Mode Control has stopped diverting air to the defrost ducts. Before you answer, I have verified that the Mode Actuator is working and shifts the white gear whenever I move the dial to each position. Even when I move it to defrost or any combination...
