They definitely have a cool factor. I’m in Southeast Texas, so no real issues. I have read that some can get clogged with dirt and grime. This pair was working fine.

    Power Running Boards Install

I watched the same video. It's very helpful. The one thing he did different is he bought the 9 pin connector and pinned it himself and ran his own wires. I didn't want to go thru that, so I bought the complete wire harness. Here is a LINK to the video you referred to.

    Power Running Boards Install

I followed the AMP research PDF and routed the wiring harness across the top. I followed the body harness down the driver side and the passenger side. the routing of the harness was pretty straight forward. I drilled a hole thru the a rubber grommet that brings the trigger wire up right under...

    Power Running Boards Install

I wanted to put the OEM Power Running Boards on my Suburban. I found a 4 year old YouTube video where a guy installed them on his Tahoe. I prefer the OEM look over the plain flat board that AMP offers. I picked these boards off a 2008 LTZ for a great price.

    Front Dash Crack

If anyone is in the Houston area, and need a dash replaced, I have options. There is the fiberglass dashes that come from Mexico. They fit good, but it will take a bit of finessing. Once in you are all good. The other option is to get a das from 2012 thru 2014. I have access to a few.

07 Suburban Missing Key Features on DIC

All Driver Information Center (DIC) features were not available on all GMT900 (2007–2014) trim levels from the factory. While the underlying electronics capability was present in most vehicles, GM restricted access to certain features based on the trim, primarily through the inclusion or...

07 Suburban Missing Key Features on DIC

GMC's has always been a slight upgrade from the Chevrolet version. Since the Yukon's used SLE, SLT, and Denali for their trims. SLT is equivalent to an LTZ with the options. My Suburban was a 2LT option. Just one step above base model. Not many options. It's nice to know all these parts are...

I learned that the 4 button module is unique to the specific model. The one I had left out all the key features I mentioned. 07 Suburban Missing Key Features on DIC

I have all the buttons, I just don’t get those features. I’m wondering if I need to get the module from an LTZ or a Denali? Or is it my instrument cluster that is limited? The features I listed does not show on the display when I toggle through.

07 Suburban Missing Key Features on DIC

My LT is missing some key features on the DIC. I don't have the trip meter, but not the fuel range, Avg Economy, Fuel Used, Speedometer, Trip Timer, Trans Temp, Instant Econ V8. I am missing all of these features. Can I add them by getting the DIC controls from a higher trim model?
