    Banging= most likely the U-joints. I wouldn't know what a bad one looks like though. On the hard shifting, mine did it for a little bit but went away and no codes were thrown. I got the hoe from the shop Tuesday, and I have driven it every day and no more hard shifting... Sorry dude.

    Yeah 2-doors are rare round here in northern Idaho. I have only seen one on the road. Not too many 4 doors either. Pickups seem to dominate around here tho.

    This may not be a big deal to some but I just noticed on the bowtie there is a lot of dirty water stuck between the gold and the clear. Has anyone ever tried to pop these out with success? I don't want to break it or fuck it up in the process.

    Buy it dude. I wish mine was a 2-door. You can wait around for another 2-door to pop up or increase your search radius but if you want a Tahoe now I would buy it unless you can settle for a 4-door.
