Not even if you rotate your phone to landscape orientation?

Nope. My 2022 never burned a drop, passed the pico test at 37,800. Rod bearings gave way at 44,755.Been checking oil level since delivery to now. 4k miles and hasn’t burned a drop using the factory 0w20. I would think if I had bearing issues it would show some consumption.
Because the PIKO test is a GM scamNope. My 2022 never burned a drop, passed the pico test at 37,800. Rod bearings gave way at 44,755.
Seems like it, or at least is an imperfect analysis toolBecause the PIKO test is a GM scam
At GM's scale, it is likely cheaper for GM to do a PICO test, vs just draining the oil and sticking a flexyscope / endoscope (?) into the oilpan to check for swarf -... the PICO test is a GM scam
It's probably a great analysis tool for determining IN REAL TIME if there are any harmonics that shouldn't be occurring in the engine. But as far as being a PREDICTIVE tool? Seems absolutely worthless.Seems like it, or at least is an imperfect analysis tool
In other words, for determining if the engine has pumped enough swarf through itself, and is in the middle of the process of failing. The PICO test is probably a great analysis tool for determining IN REAL TIME if there are any harmonics that shouldn't be occurring in the engine.
Seems? SEEMS?But as far as (the PICO test) being a PREDICTIVE tool? Seems absolutely worthless.
I'm afraid they will all fail in 5 years. It will be interesting to see 5 years from now if there are any more failures occurring. My guess is that the vast majority of failure will have happened by then.
I talked about this right away, and when the 25 motors went, that nothing had changed .... so I decided not to take risks and not to take the 26 model ....and switched to the Jeep brand)Seems like it, or at least is an imperfect analysis tool

So this is like, the plastic pin in the turkey? When it pops, your turkey's done?I've heard from fairly reliable sources that GM and other manufacturers are now adding full time PICO type testing into the ECU programming,
using the existing knock sensors to potentially trigger a SES/CEL/MIL if noise or vibration that could possibly be an indicator of an engine on the way to failing.

Sorry to see you go Vladimir, bye bye.I talked about this right away, and when the 25 motors went, that nothing had changed .... so I decided not to take risks and not to take the 26 model ....and switched to the Jeep brand)
Jeep? Going from engine problems to differential problems? LOL Sorry, man. I hope you'll reconsider and will stick around here.I talked about this right away, and when the 25 motors went, that nothing had changed .... so I decided not to take risks and not to take the 26 model ....and switched to the Jeep brand)
I will still stay on this forum)) I like it here))Sorry to see you go Vladimir, bye bye.
I bought a grand wagoner with a 3.0t engine, after 6.2 GM, it's already hard to scare me. And Grand Wagonier is just a space car, I like it very much)Jeep? Going from engine problems to differential problems? LOL Sorry, man. I hope you'll reconsider and will stick around here.

3.6l pentastar? Yikes! I have one of those and waiting for the failure. The 3.0l is not much better.I talked about this right away, and when the 25 motors went, that nothing had changed .... so I decided not to take risks and not to take the 26 model ....and switched to the Jeep brand)
