Is this the normal front wheel stance/offset?

2012 Yukon XL and I bought this used with the dealer upgraded CK916 22" wheels, which have the correct 31MM offset. This hasn't really bothered me too much but I want to get clarification before I get new tires and maybe different wheels.

I wanted to try some 18's a while back and those were from a 2018 Silverado and had a 28MM offset and they stuck out even more. I want to keep my 22's but have been toying with the idea of the OE polished 20's (CV-81).

So I'm curious if this is what I should see. The only thing I can think of if it's not correct is the brake rotor thickness. I'm surprised the tire is outside the fenders but maybe that's how it's supposed to be.

What tire size are you running? Is it a secret?

I run 305/50x20 tires, which are wider than stock (275/55x20), I have stock 31mm offset wheels, and my front tires extend beyond the wheel well about the same as your photo. I have no issues with them.

apples to oranges but my 2011 Suburban 265/65/18s (10.4" wide per online tire dimensions calculator) are outside the front fenders just like yours maybe a hair more.

Here's my '13 LTZ on the stock 20x8.5" et31 Style 5416s with 275/55-20 Michelin Defender LTX M/Ss. The maximum section width is slightly outside the fender, but the tread is not.

For the record, I'm gauging how much my wheel/tire sticks out by looking at the top of the fender opening, mine shows the edge of the outer tread block.

Are those the OE wheels? Or at least with the 31mm offset? Doesn't look bad, just curious.

Those looked tucked in a tad more than mine, about where, IMO.. I feel they should be.

I can see part of the outer tread block on mine at the top of the fender which is why I wonder if something is amiss.

yes, they are Chevy/GM OE wheels. My pix don't show it clearly, but I can see the outer edge of the tire tread from the top of the fender as well. I'm guessing it's because the Burb is a dark color.

Are they your OE wheels or from a different model year/generation?

Reason I ask is yes they will bolt up, but a widely varying difference in offsets over the years.

Ah I see, the 'Burb was purchased used so I don't know if they were the original wheels.

Different offsets. If there not the oe wheels then offset will be different.
