make that a 3-in-1 shot, the wheel I can polish a bit and she'll just have to deal with it. I was hoping I would only have to buy 2 tires,,,,,,,

Ouch, that stinks. Do you have road hazard warranty on the tires? I thought that Illinois had bad roads, California must have craters not pot holes.

no, she was going thru a section of road that has a special in-road divider that is made to make you slow down. she hit one side of it and it pushed the wheel the other way and she played pinball thru the divider. Basically way over correcting and damaged the tires and wheels.

It's pretty crazy how well some bad looking rims can get repaired
ya the one with the big ding in it he said they would fill it in and color match like it never happened, works for me. Replacements were easily $300+ each or much more depending on where you shop

decided on a set of General tire UHP, price wasn't necessarily any better on amazon but I have a tax exemption and I can get all 4 mounted/balanced for about $80
there non directional so I can rotate any pattern and there seems to be plenty around so getting a replacement if needed is not a problem

I took them for a little spin didn't try anything too crazy but they seemed ok. I like my eagle sport a/s on the Denali but they only go up to 20"
I picked the AS07 after a bit of research and pricing, they fit my budget and they were easy to balance per the shop

Alright with gas prices going up and UPPPP, here is a little trick to increasing MPGs for free. If you look at your door plaque it calls for something like 33-35psi for the tire pressure. Go ahead and bump that up to 40psi and you will see improvement sometimes as much as 1mpg if not more. Down side is you will feel more of the road into yoru seat and steering wheel.

I just tried going from 30 to 35 to 40 even 43psi and during all those air pressure changes I saw upward trend in MPGs with the same trip to and from work. I am able to get 21mpg at 40psi, and about 16MPG at 30psi. Temps and traffic conditions can not be controlled but I feel that improvement can be measured in real world steady state highway driving.

I used them in my wife's 2016 Equinox to great effect.

which model bulb does yours use? i'm asking because it could be one of about 3/4 different models that were offered on these vehicles.

H11 bulb for low beams, I actually went with this Amazon bulb. Blew my mind away how good they are. If they can hold up and be reliable il never buy hids again.

Before and after. Posted the quick pic while I was still working, but here's the explanation....

This was a LT2 intake manifold swap. I added the Corsa intake a few days ago and that Donaldson filter seems to be everything they've advertised. I installed the intake in an autozone parking lot and picked up three tenths of a mpg before the truck got back on the main road. I had a k&n filter/airaid setup prior. I cleaned regularly but still seems to be restrictive by comparison.

Manifold came from a low mileage 23 stingray, so I preferred not to do the mods that most videos depict. Instead I went with the ict billet supercharger risers, which solved both the fuel pump clearance and accessory belt clearance issues. Other than that, the videos on YouTube pretty much cover everything. Extended ten wires total, rerouted a pcv line, that's about it

Side note: hptuners is a gateway drug. It's enabling me to tinker more and I was already predisposed to tinkering.
