I want to factory order either the Yukon SLE or SLT. I want the SLE to save some money but the SLE everything for the most part is Manuel -lift gate/ folding seats. Is having everything automatic folding seats and automatic lift gate worth it?

How often will you put the seats up and down? In my case almost never so automatic folding seats are unnecessary. I think they make the most sense on the XL platform as you have to crawl into the trunk a bit to get to the release levers.

As far as manual lift gate, it’s super easy to open and close the manual version. If you or your significant other are short, then you might want the automatic version because then you can use the key fob to close it. Also I think on the automatic version you can set the height at which it will open if you have a garage where it will clash if it lifts all the way up.

This is just me, but I have auto lift gate off just so when I open gate in garage it doesn't hit top of garage opening. I know its adjustable but if garage door is closed and someone hits opening button it won't open and damage rear door. Peace of mind when unloading grocers etc. So not having it would not be big deal. Now third row seat I have never used I don't have young children eighter.

Manual tailgate is super light and easy to lift/lower. The auto loftgate is a bit more cumbersome to loft/lower manually due to the extra parts needed to run it automatically so it has extra resistance. I am getting a tahoe ls so i am fine with the manual liftgate and 3rd row seats.

I liked my Manual Liftgate back in the day as it allowed for a much bigger back side and rear window for better visibility..... Now the power actuators take up some much room you loose this extra vis. If the manual had a different style I'd opt for it for better vis, but they only make one style of trim so it's just wasted empty space... Get the auto - SLT trim is real nice as well - you'll get a lot more from a SLT vs SLE.

Yes it’s worth it, of course I’m a bit older and not quite as nibble as I once was.

I guess that could happen, just not sure i have ever ran into that problem. Carts are common at all the stores i shop at so if there is a cart load of stuff, it carries them till im at my vehicle. Also helps that when shopping my wife or kids or all are with me so someone can open it before i get there. Call me lucky?

I had an XL SLE before my current SLT, I had to crawl in to reach the straps to lower the 3rd row seats. The manual liftgate was no problem to operate.
