I would never buy a fiberglass hood. I went with a steel cowl one, works good. Details on that accident that wasn’t your fault.
Let me see your hood. Because this is a $350 hoodatbest. Not worth the $600+ that was paid. This is my first time trying out this company. Where did you get your hood. I would like pics. As far as the accident goes basically a crackhead that shouldn't have been behind the wheel ran a stop sign and hit me. He was going about 55-60mph in an 25mph Street. It's lucky my truck was there because it basically blocked children that were about to get ran over. A group of angry people mobbed him. Pulled him from the car and started beating him. I just stood by and watched.

Old, can’t find any decent hoods for the NNBS Yukon’s except stock style. Weird.

On second though after prepping the hood everything is looking good so far. Looks to be better than I originally thought. The hood latch is reinforced by me getting a better look at the inside. At first look it looks to be just molded to the fiberglass. This is false. So far so good. I'll see how well it fits after I paint it

During an accident, your suspension gets upset, so your traction/grip on the surface is diminished. Braking will be poor due to uneven footing under your tires. Also, if you end up off the roadway onto property / grass, ( just like NASCAR), you go for a ride on grass. At least you hit a "safer barrier"..... " breakaway wood".. :)

Needless to say, I am glad you only got a bump.
