Yukon bmc cowl hood

Just to update this thread. I messed around with trying to get this hood to latch for about an hour. Since they made the striker shorter than the factory striker, it hits the back of the latch where the hood open sensor goes. I shaved off allot of plastic but still wasn't enough to fully latch this hood down. Nor would it close completely. The only way it sits all the way down is by removing the latch completely. I'll try to source an normal latch without the sensor to see how it does tomorrow. Will update my findings.
