I have a zr 11 scanner from harbor freight. I did some digging within the live data menu and the cam retard info is not there. Neighbor is out of town so I had a question about spark advance, and possibly doing it myself with what’s available. This is what my scanner displays spark advance and it’s between 16.5 and 18 degrees At idle (around 725-750 rpm). Do you think it’s possible to time it based on that number or...- redwing4900

Problem solved? Cleaned up some chassis grounds that were quite rusty also did one more adjustment to the distributor: it worked the cam position correlation engine light was on until I made the adjustment so that the cap sat against the manifold and it fired up no check engine light. By the way this was not an ac delco part the middle fried off and was laying in the distributor. Sounds like I’m answering my own question regarding ac delco versus cheaper doesn’t it I could change the cps back to the original one that was in there or get an AC delco cam position sensor and see...- redwing4900

Yes I was thinking that it was a tooth off because it ran so rough after I did the re stab. I’ll retime it tomorrow I hope it works. So the code 1345 is because it’s not timed correctly?- redwing4900

I finally had some time today to look things over and found the pictures fuse blown that was in the ENG-I slot 20amp. I checked the timing and it appears correct now as it turns over without sputtering and coughing. Still no start. I have rechecked the previously blown fuse and it’s not blowing...- redwing4900
