Need transmission advice please
I think 1350 is a pretty good price for a rebuild, especially if its a performance rebuild. I had mine rebuilt for 2200. That was a full performance rebuild, i had them put in all new high performance bands, clutches, a beefed up sunshell, higher stall convertor, new planetarys, billet servos...- NOVAhoe

Rough Idle and running VERY rich
well little update, i went to go mess with the truck this morning and it was still running rough, had a hard time starting too. So pulled all the plugs, checked the gap on them all, pulled the dist cap and cleaned all the terminals, i also cleaned the mass airflow sensor, there was what looked...- NOVAhoe

Ill have to look at it, i can see that being an issue, when i open the hood i can smell fuel. just looked and inside the intake is dry as a bone. Im gonna pull the plugs now and see how they look, and ill go from there. it seems like an ignition problem to me, of course i could be wrong...- NOVAhoe

Rough Idle and running VERY rich
So today on the way home from work my truck decided to piss me off. Its idling pretty rough, it sounds like it has a cam in it and its running extremely rich, when you stand within 5 feet of the exhaust you can smell straight fuel. Im thinking its an ignition problem, its not throwing codes...- NOVAhoe

1999 GMC Yukon for sale!
Well the time has finally come, im selling my Yukon. Its an awesome truck but a desperately need a pickup due to newly owning a dog and im also sick if trying to find a trailer whenever i need to transport my toys lol (motorcycle, atv, etc.) It has 160,000 miles on it, mostly highway from here...- NOVAhoe

I put the new front end on, its not too bad looking, the black makes it look kinda tough. -

Thanks man. With the rear blocks i didn't have to extend anything at all, and the blocks i got were nice because they were tapered so the rear drive line angle wasn't ruined. For the front i have heard 2" was a lot as well, i haven't had any issues yet, the only thing i don't like is the front... -

hey sunlit im running an msd cap and rotor too. How did yours fail? When i pulled mine apart to do the intake manifold gasket i was kinda surprised that there was already some carbon buildup on the terminals on the inside of the cap, I haven't even had it on there for more then 6 months.- NOVAhoe

Sorry i know this is a little late but i was out of town haha. I got the front end but im still debating on if i want to put it on or not, i guess i need to just try it out and see, if i dont like it ill put the old one back on and get the new one painted to match. -

The only thing is depending on how long they have been on there you might have marks in the paint from the chrome strips, my truck did unfortunately, but they aren't noticeable unless you actually examine the fenders -
Squat???
Its spreading here in Virginia too, its really popular on the lifted super dutys and rams, all the HD trucks seem like they have it now, I personally dont like it, an inch is ok, it reminds me of a baja truck, on certain trucks though. My yukon goes the other way lol, i was raised on vehicles...- NOVAhoe

For anyone who has a gmc, is your front grill and and surround falling apart on you? Cause mine sure is, every time i look at it its got a new crack or something is split, its so irritating, and i want a new front end, but then i gotta get it painted, its so much work for that. Does anyone think...
