Anyone here fix the buffeting issue with new tires on oem 22 wheels?

I recently installed new michelin tires (RF under 15lbs) on stock 20 denali wheels and it cured 99% of the buffeting in our XL SLT. I am really wanting to know if anyone did the same but with the oem 22 wheels?

We have a 2015 Denali XL with 22 inch wheels that started getting a vibration (not buffeting) after the tires were rotated at 5000 miles. A few trips to the dealer for multiple road force balances did not solve the problem. The service manager finally did a vibration test and discovered that 3 of the factory Bridgestone tires were out of round. The tires were replaced with Michelin Premier LTX tires and the vibration is now gone. We just had another service where the tires were rotated and so far, so good.

Luckily we have not had the dreaded buffeting issue. We have had 5 of the 6 pillar trim pieces repaired, OnStar antenna replaced and a new bumper cover thanks to a run-in with the neighbors dog. (Dog is okay)

Hopefully you will continue to have good luck like we have with the Michelins.

Have dealer or better yet local tires shop Road Force Balance all tires with hunter machine. See what kind of road force numbers they come up with. Many have had success after road forcing and replacing tires. What size are on your truck now?

I didn't think Michelin made 22 inch tires? Is that new?

THey offer two different tires in the 285/45/22

have them road forced and see what they show.

the local tire shop told me the tires in bad shape and need replacement
( i expect that cause i bought it used with almost zero mileage and been standing for long time - production year 6/2014 )
he offered me Michelin tires with size 18/65/275 (my stock Bridgestone size 18/65/265)
does 275 would make the car drive worse than the 265 ?
