Any details on this? I'm assuming it is probably obvious, but just wanted to ask.

Have you seen some other rigs with this mod? I think it's a no-brainer if the watts are the same, but don't know if there's any long term issues with the housings, reflectors, etc...?
Check out www.store.candlepower.com for complete info. There are no issues using HIR in place of halogens. Just a brighter, longer lasting bulb.

I too have said button lol

Sucks to be you....J/K

even stranger, my hoe doesn't have any buttons in that area. it just has a pocket. My traction control is on the opposite side next to the light controls. Any ideas where I can mount the aux jack in this situation? currently have a long aux cord hooked into the jack that is hidden behind the glove box but id like to clean up the look and mount the jack somewhere. ;)

If it were me, I'd mount on the side of that pocket or the back of the pocket.

I was wondering if there was something to replace the stock cigarette lighter as I don't smoke. But I'm spoiled I'd like to have the higher voltage USB for fast charging any ideas? I heard some of the newer models have USB chargers there.

Try this link too. Thx @Red Rocket.

http://store.candlepower.com/hirlighting.html

Looks like they have a 2 bulb special pricing going on right now.

Edit: Reading further they even show/mention how to modify the tab for fitment as @SUBURBIAN mentioned above. Nice find guys.

These bulbs are OEM in a veriety of rides. They are a stock item at the chain parts houses around here ($25 apiece at AZ), so I''d imagine they're readily available across the country, without shipping and possible breakage.

New TYC parking lamp housings from rock auto for Mrs. SUBURBIAN's Suburban. Not bad, ordered Monday, delivered today for about $25. Just installed.

$25 for the pair? That's not bad! I may have to pick some up, mine are looking terrible

While I had it apart I added a led light.

2005 GMC Yukon Denali 6.0L V8

Things I've done to it ever sense I got it, everything is in order from the day I got it:
1. All LED interior Lighting, LED Curtesy(under the side mirror),LED license Plate bulb. Black Smoke LED Brake light + Third Brake Light, LED Reverse light Bulb, LED DRL Bulb, LED Halo Fog lamp, and the most important thing on the front, I installed a custom bracket mounted to my tow hook bolts to hold the 6000k LED LIGHT BAR! (Blue light switch mounted ontop of traction control button and AUX).
2. 9005 6000k low beam HID.
3. K&N Cold Air Intake.
4. Aux Chord into Stock GM Radio.
5 2008 Steel Silverado Rims(painted black and GMC Logo) on brand new Michelin 265/70/17 LT2 with all new TPMS Sensors.
6. Installed a Switch to turn off Air Shock Compressor when I carry heavy loads so the compressor doesn't run constantly.
7. Installed a 2004 Tahoe Z71 Roof Rack found at a salvage yard in MD(fitment was perfect)
8. Regular Maintenance, Engine Oil Change, both front and rear Differential Gear oil Change, Brakes....Tuneups.... Etc.
