How are the lights holding up. Do you have any pictures to see what the beam looks against a wall. Thinking of doing this to my Tahoe. Thanks
They are great not going anywhere at all. Let me snap some pictures tonight and post them

Thoughts on these bulbs? Too much for the little stock housings maybe? I don't think heat would be an issue with these.

If anyone is still curious about simple bulb replacements I ordered these bulbs and I'm very impressed with them. They're bright as hell and I can finally tell the difference when the fog lights are on. I might even order the ones for my low beams. They seem like really good quality and I'm not worried about them getting damaged. I can post some pics if someone wants to see.
Only fogs
Both lows and fogs
Lows only
Fogs only
Both lows and fogsI was hoping the pictures would do more justice but if you pay attention to the light output it's better than before. They're basically like having a second pair of low beams.

Like I said, I'm really impressed with these bulbs. You can't tell in the pictures but when the fogs are on I can see down into the ditches. Hope this helps.
How did you install these?
Thanks,

Gotta do he same for hids. Just a bit too longI just remembered I also bent that metal piece inside the fog light housing up out of the way and then flattened it out as much as I could. I think that helps some too.
They were simple plug and play. They come with a couple of extra wiring harnesses for certain cars but they weren't needed for mine. Just the plug in ballast was needed with the bulb.
Is there no need for relays? HIDs in my other car needed a relay or risk burning stuff up. Do they LEDs not use much power is why?
Where did you mount the ballasts?
So what i did was used a Ebay 6in cree LED light bar, My factory fog light housing was already busted missing the lens. I popped out the little bulb shield inside of it and used a longer bolt on the LED mount and mounted it to where the bulb would hook up to the back side of fog light housing. pretty simple, clean look and you can just splice LED lights into factory fog light wiring and don't have to worry about running any wires.
I just did this mod this weekend and it turned out great! Probably the best $25 modification I've ever made. These lights are BRIGHT! Here's a shot with the fogs ONLY, no headlights at all:

So thanks again for posting this, it was a big help since my factory fogs were toast anyway.
