Hey guys, I didn't know if anyone knew the GM part numbers for the LTZ chrome mesh grille? All the after market ones don't do it for me.

Are you serious? Did you look at the picture above?

Thank you everyone! That was the hardest part number for me to find. Since some pictures you can't tell if the mesh is chrome or the standard black.

No problem. :)

For future reference, check out gmpartsdirect.com. I located the grille by going to the "Accessories" tab, then the "Chevrolet" tab, then selecting "Tahoe," then "2009," then "LTZ," then locating "Grille package" with the description "Chrome Surround w/ Chrome Mesh." That appears to be a (4) piece set.

If you only need the chrome mesh inserts and NOT the surrounds, then you might only need "17803404" which appears to be just the inserts.

Check it out -- it's a great resource.

KMeloney,

Thanks for the info I will definitely use that site from now on. I didn't know you could just purchase the inserts instead of the entire grille. I will try that first.

It's goofy, and sometimes tough to get to the bottom of it, but sometimes GM has a part number for a "KIT" that contains more than one part (for example, you can buy each part of the Escalade roof rack separately, or you can get the rails and caps as a "left" kit and a "right" kit, each with it's own part number).

Just take those numbers to your local parts guy, and have him look up the number(s) on the computer. He can confirm that it's the correct part you're looking for.

Good luck!

Chrome surround with chrome mesh (#19169494 ) is 2 pieces. Having just changed from an LT to LTZ grille I can tell you that they way the inserts are seated are different. Since I kept getting sent a damaged LTZ grille I though I could just swap the surrounds since that is what was damaged. No dice, they are different. On the LTZ they grilles are made up of 3 parts, the chrome surround the chrome mesh and the black piece with all the clips on it. On the LT grille it's just the mesh/clips as one piece (since they are both black) and then the surround.

You would need some aerosol chrome polish with some detialing swabs, and a few hours! It's hard enough detailing my Denali grill, couldn't imagine the tahoe chrome mesh!
