My only complaint about my 2015 Tahoe LS is that it doesn't have foglights. I was hoping someone on here has a Tech Manual that shows the parts numbers and a good place to order the housings.

I'm likely to wire them using a relay so they're on anytime the heads are one, but I'm not adverse to using a OEM wire harness. So if you have that number also...that'd be great.

Thanks in advance. Hoping to soon add that last little bit to her

I was just about to make a post about this. I was hoping that GM sold a fog light conversion kit, but they don't.

Nope, my dealer told me GM can't offer the necessary parts list because these trucks are too new. Not sure if I believe that excuse. All I want are the OEM fog housings. I'll wire up a manual switch powered off the ignition.

I was also irritated that the LT don't have fog lights. I went to my local dealer and picked up the blue prints of the front end of a ltz. I ordered the fog light brackets from gm parts giant for $17 bucks each. I then ordered the fog lights on ebay, they are the same fog lights that are currently in the pick ups from 07 on. I paid $40 bucks for the set. I have the part numbers for the wire harness and the switch at home, i am currently at work. I installled the fog lights and they look great. I am holding back on the harness and switch because parts guy told me it wouldnt work. My wife loves the lights even though they dont work. I will get back with you and give you all the part numbers.

Please do. Although I measured the fogs in my truck vs the openings on the tahoe and there seemed to be around a 1 inch difference if I'm not mistaken. I was hoping that they were the same. Are they not a flush mount on the new
Tahoes.

Also post some pics of the lamps installed. Thanks,

Yeah thats what i thought too. My parents have an ltz so i double checked. when looking at the fog light all the edges are hidden by the bumper trim. I will try and get numbers up tonight but my wife is taking me to dinner and the movie Fury tonight so it might not be till tomorrow.

Forgot to ask...did you order the chrome trim piece that goes right above the factory fog light openings? Please share that part number too if you have it, thanks!

Brackets Part#'s 22936482, 22936483. Lamps Part#s 22872762, 22872763.

I have lost the part numbers for the switch and harness, I am still looking. I did not get the chrome trim piece. The LT's that have the luxury package do not have the chrome. LTZ does. The bracket is plastic, place the lamp inside the bracket and it just clips in. I had to remove the inner fender well to get behind bumper. Remove the plastic inserts where the fog lights go and replace with the new brackets with the same screws you just took out, its that simple.

Just found the switch part #. 23187804. It is the same switch found in the 2014 chevy silverado. They look the same, this one just has the fog light switch built into it.

Thanks for the info! Where'd you find the lamps for $40?? I only see them on eBay for $80-90 EACH.

Also curious what wiring harness you used. Just a universal relay harness?

Part numbers 25883246 and 25883245 also work for the fog lights. These are the discontinued numbers from chevy but they still work. I have not bought the wire harness yet, parts guy told me it wouldn't work, harness also has wires for the park sensors in the front bumper and said it would cause problems. I lost parts number for harness, next time I'm at dealer I will ask again.

Thanks again. Will the brackets you mentioned attach to these?

I've also been questioning how involved it would be to install the OEM fog switch. Others have said it goes through the ECU and if it somehow is tied into the park sensors, it sounds like it could get pretty complicated. I have a feeling that using a universal HID wiring harness hooked up to a universal push-button switch might be the easiest option. As long as the fogs turn off with the ignition, that's all I care about.

This is why when I looked for my Tahoe LT I insisted that it had a Luxury package. Safety features, fog lights, etc. It was a pain to find one with the exact features but I eventually found it.
