It isn't the tuning files that we are waiting for, it is the actual software on the handheld that will allow it to program.

Then Andrew Jensen from EFI Live must be wrong. I even sent him my VIN to be sure they understood it's a 6.2 6-speed 4X4. The "FlashScan V2 Scan and Tune" for $799.00 was what he quoted me (licensed for up to 2 vehicles). Looking at their site, this is used to record data and then start changing the various mapping? That's not what I want, only because I don't have the hours needed to keep playing around with settings until it's "right". More info please.

Right, that is for the V2 which can do all the vechiles ECM and TCM included. That is different than the AutoCal.

The tuning of the 6 speed isn't the issue, the problem is that the transmission computer is inside the transmission, requiring tuning to be performed directly through the OBD2 port. The V2 will fully allow that and the AutoCal will just as soon as they (EFILive) have finished the firmware and software development for that device. At the moment, the AutoCal is able to record data and retrieve calibrations through the OBD2 port, it just cannot perform any programming function.

So, which one do you recommend Jenna, I have logged on to their website a few times but it's acting up on me? Also, what is the cost of the autocal one, can't seem to find that price either anywhere, I did see the flashscan V2 is $799 and the V2 scan only is $399 but can't seem to find a price for the autocal one!

AutoCal- optimal for folks that want us to provide email tunes for them to upload
V2 scan/tune- allows for email tunes, as well as self tuning on multiple vehicles
V2 scan- just allows you to log/scan, no programming/tuning

Price on the AutoCal has not been released yet, but will almost certainly be cheaper than the V2 scan.

So when it comes to the V2 scan/tune device, how much can you tune with them? Is it like choosing 3 preset tunes like other tuners that you can buy on the market or can you control values of aspects of your truck like Edelbrocks EFI system with handheld controller? Just need more info!

The V2 scan/tune is unlike handhelds, it is more for the folks that would like to tune on their own. You get to vehicle licenses with the cable, and can upload unlimited tunes to those vehicles via your laptop. So essentially you can have all of your tunes sitting in files on your laptop, and just upload them as you wish.

The AutoCal, will be more for folks that are not interested in tuning on their own, and would just like to have a tuner email tunes to them, so they can upload them to their vehicle. The AutoCal will also allow for you to datalog your vehicle, and send that info off to your tuner.
