Forward...our trucks ignitions dont turn backwards (at least not the Denalis)..but I'd figure all our SUVs have the same ignition?

1 forward to turn on radio with *ding ding ding ding ..etc...*
2 forward to turn on all accessories with only a couple *dings* then it stops
3 forward to crank

The dings are of course only while door is open

your ignition key wont turn backwards? are you sure?
My tahoe ignition will go back one click and that turns on radio and power windows (and maybe some other stuff but I havent noticed anything else that could come on)

battery light comes on when you are in ACC mode.

if it is staying on, your ignition switch might be failed.
