Over the weekend I found the time to install my new bilstein 5100's. I am very happy with the new shocks installed, no more clunking in the rear! It was very easy to do all of them and took me under an hour to do. Ive put about 250mi on them so far and love the way they ride.

Thanks Birch! I went with the 5100's because of the 2-3" lift size. Cranked ford keys up front and the 2" rear spacers. With stock shocks it was really stiff, and when going down bumps the rear shocks would max out and make an audible bang. Ended up blowing out a front one last week so I went with the shocks that everyone recommended. Plus I've ran the bilstein brand in my lifted trailblazer and was happy

Will the Bilstein 5100 fit without a lift (spacers) in the rear?

The part #s are in my lift thread and posted again below

check shockwarehouse.com and search for 00-06 gm tahoe/yukon for fronts, then 01-03 dodge ram 1500 for rears. look at the 5100 series for 1-2" lift for both vehicles.

Front - Bilstein 5100 Offroad Shock: F4-BE5-C153-H0 (Lifted Chevy shock)

Rear - Bilstein 5100 Offroad Shock: F4-BE5-6682-H8 (Dodge Ram shock)
