My "Service Tire Monitoring System" is showing on the DIC periodically, thinking one of my sensors is bad.

Is there a way to shut the TMS off? I am not a fan of the system anyhow, as I believe in checking the air pressure regularly.

How can I disable the system?

Thanks in advance.

Silly question.. But isn't it easier to just click the dash button to check the tire pressure as opposed to getting out to physically check it?

On another note.. Checking the tire pressure regularly isn't going to help if you're on the highway and hit a nail and get a slow leak that could turn into a blowout. You'd get the dash light once the pressure got low enough to be a danger.

I'd keep it. :) well worth it IMHO.

On my '04, you can not click through the pressures as I was able to do on my '06. On the '04 it will only show you the light of the pressure is low.

But, I do get your point in regards to keeping it.

THANKS.

Mine is on also, actually on both my cars. I just click the enter button to get rid of the message.

Yes, I know HOW TO and am CAPABLE of doing just that.

However, as I started out in my thread, I like to be able to fix the problem.
