I want to add a Cobra Model 25 or similar to my truck but am not sure about placement. Has anybody installed one and where?

Ive never seen a CB in a denali yet
I don't even know why put a CB in a Denali, If your a cop , Bo Or luke Duke I don't see the reason. Cell Phones do the same but with unlimited range. Cell Phone My Friend
There are many places where cell phones still don't get service, and carrying a satellite phone all the time is just ridiculous and expensive.
Just saying.
Sent while day dreaming...
I travel all over the world, Iraq, Afghanistan, Bagdad, Europe for missions and I never had no service Im on Verizon and I never had to worry about it not dealing with service. If you get a CB you will more than likely be in the US and Verizon kills coverage all over the US. But the CB could work mounting it where the Six disc cd changer is mounted if you don't use it that much in the age of MP3 and IPod's. I would pull out the in dash changer and slide your changer right into that spot.
I put it in that spot where the changer was but it sticks out a bit and I"m going to have to trim the bezel but I'm still waiting on the antenna splitter to go into the radio antenna
You reception is going to suck so bad, you will wonder if anyone actually uses CB.
Not a CB, but I installed my Yaesu FT1900 along side the console molding on the drivers side. The face is looking up at you, and I simply ran all the wires under the console molding, ran a hard-line to the wiring under the hood, and the antenna up the side pillar molding and out thru the rear passenger door (I don't have it perm installed on roof, will not fit in garage)
Only thing I have to be concerned of, is spilling my drink, and a short person moving the seat up too far, neither of which are serious concerns as I'm the primary driver. I can snap a photo if you'd like.
No they don't.Good Idea. The younger generation does not understand the fun we had on ch 19
I bought a midland through the glass now to wait till that comes and mod the bezel in the meantime
I didn't want to rip anything out of the dash, just because I'm pretty **** about that sort of thing. This doesn't interfere with driving at all, and I don't worry that the audio is lost under a seat, in the console etc.
