After installing some new 305/50/20 cooper zeon's i had excessive rubbing in the rear with 4-5 ppl in it. I cut a bit of the fender liner, seemed to rub right in front of the shock bolt. So that helps but concerns me its like 1" away from it.

So...my question is, if i put 1/2" spacers without studs, will the stock studs have enough thread to mount?
Or will i need spacers with studs?

If you're wheel/tire setup is 1" away from the shock bolt you will be fine. It is a slim amount of clearance, but you will not ever hit it unless you are off-roading on some rocky or mountain terrain.

I occasionally go on ruff terrain to get to some construction sites, thats what worries me.

My question is, can i put on half inch spacers without studs? Meaning will i have enough thread on stock studs to bolt rim back on?

pics of shock bolt and tire and clearance please.

use spacers as a last option. do you really need a whole 1/2" of spacer to clear? 1/4" would be safer. as well as no spacers being the safest.
