Nope I'm using 35W ballasts. I really only use them when at night on the highway or when it's rainy/foggy. I honestly don't think they'll melt with minimal use. Although one ballast DID go out a few months back but I replaced it with yet another 35W ballast. Now I want to go with yellow fogs and see if the visibility is any better with em.

Okay cool.

I am thinking I am going to go the Nokya route too. Serge and Nathan seem to love them.

BTW. I just added pictures of the DRL in my thread too.:)

Thanks!

What's new Felix? Last thing you did was the chassis coating right?

Nothing's new unfortunately :( still haven't put on the new custom billet antenna I got... I also got some gloss black film to cover the amber lens on my headlights but I haven't had time to do that either. That amber is killing me!

I hate when I chime in late to build threads that are over 10 pages long.
Now I can't read back without my mind swaying.

I just washed and waxed the esky with Mother's Carnauba Cleaner Wax. It worked wonders on all the little imperfections on the paint. Once I was done, it looked like a mirror! I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking for a good wax to use.

Here's exactly what I used:

Good work Felix.

Black is very rewarding when you put the work into it like you have.

Thanks guys!

Yes black is very hard to keep clean! Just finished washing/waxing the avalanche too. Also finally installed the custom billet antenna.

I like that antenna! Maybe I should get one.
Do all the NNBS models have that hole for it?
I have never noticed that on mine.

Esky looks good Felix. You should wash, clay then wax. I just did it to my Yukon and looks good.

Nice antenna. I'll have to try out the mothers possibly this summer.

fwiw, I've found the Griots Garage Spray-Wax very helpful and easy for maintenance waxing. In fact it's all I've had to use for the past year. Here's after a hand wash 2 days ago after hand washing 2 months worth of winter crap off. Notice the depth of shine and clarity of reflection in the reflection of the floor mat letters:

All I do is spritz a little of it on each panel of the Hoe before I take my waffle-weave Microfiber dry towel to it, and it shines while I'm drying it. So quick and easy. I've been really impressed with it. I just bought their jumbo bottle after using their trial-size.

Just wanted to share bc I found it's such an easy way to extend the life of all the hard work I put into keeping my black truck maintained.

Yes sir they all have one. A guy makes it on GMFS and most people on there have Silvy's/sierra's. he said they fit all gmt900 vehicles so I took a chance and got one. Sure enough it fit! So I'm pretty sure it would fit on Tahoe's too since we essentially have the same front end.
