If I'm not mistaken, can I adjust the timing with a tune??

And how much damage would I do to my truck if I adjusted the timing up 5 or 10*? (10* is probably a lot and would yeld some pretty decent gains i think but would probably be very unsafe to run)

any insight?

as I have come to learn, happiness is anything but eternal... and if my guess is correct, my motor will NOT find internal happiness... but the power gains would certainly be nice

a great idea for power is to put a leaf blower on the intake. Just like a turbo.....

There are some free (very cheap) mods you can do, like the egr block of plate, and throtle body coolant bypass. There are some others but I cant think of them.

already done the TB coolant bypass, not for any power though... not sure it actually increases power. I did it because i like to clean my TB out every 3-5k and it makes it much easier.

WTF is an EGR block??

well, it keeps exhaust gas out of your intake. Basicaly keeps your intake temps down and allows more oxygen to be taken in, instead of exhaust.
