Ha ha ha......I understand that. But I'm curious to what exactly is it tuning. Is it somewhat like jail breaking an iPhone? Full potential?

The biggest benefit other than HP gains is the tuning of the transmission for our 6 speeds. They can remove majority of the torque management that GM programs into the stock tune. Read the FAQ's like Nathan said. They got some good info there.

I just ordered their AutoCal unit which plugs into the vehicle and gives me the ability to store multiple tunes and revert back to the stock tune if I need to take back to the dealership for warranty work. Just drive around with it and email the data it collects to BBP and they email you the tunes based upon your requests and the file you sent them from the AutoCal. This is around $500 but you can also do an in person tune which will save you a couple hundred.

Well in that case here is the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Airaid-Dry-...r_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item19caf3f598

To be exact, he has it for $163.90 but countered an offer of $140.00 :)

I just submitted my $140 offer to him for the 201-796 (non-oilled) system... we will see...

He countered with $165. Guess I'll do $145 and if he says no, I'll just wait. It's not the money, it's the principal...

well, he went from $165 to $160 so I declined his offer. O well... maybe later... Or another seller...

He makes some good videos....^^^^:)

@ Nathan..........I can honestly say I have NEVER bought anything from Egay......

I got my kit from Amazon...........

Also, like a moron I bought the pipe and filter separate......... Oh well......

@ MACHO.........

Hey did you notice little "rubber" pieces on the filter when you got it? Mine had about 6 little rubber specs that I took out of the mesh.

I did not want them to get sucked into the intake.

Also, this is one HEAVY Air Filter..........

Yeah, I'll probably go that route as well. Maybe from BlackBear too. Like I said, it's not the money, it's the principal.

Yes.....I understand.........^^^^

I just stick to the bigger retailers like Amazon, StylinTrucks, and Summit for this reason.

Only time I use the smaller folks is like our folks here, Like Tony and Robbie....

Thanks Lee!

Amazon?! Who the heck is Amazon. J/K :)

Yeah it is HEAVY. I just went and looked and I found to small specks (pencil tip size). They were on the top of the filter so I guess no chance of getting sucked in even if I hadn't have found them, and prob not enough to do any damage but I'm glad I checked--thanks! There wasn't anything on the TB facing (bottom) side of the filter.

Like I said, it's not the money, it's the principal.

AMEN!
