How is that so? So with the jr kit, all you are swapping out is the stock air filter (keeping the box) and the M.I.T.? Am I correct?

yup. read the link i posted. they tested most of the cold air intake kits. just because it's expensive or more products, doesn't mean it's better

That's true.....just making sure I'm on the same page. All this time I thought folks were talking about the full swap. Cool beans....saved me a couple hundred bucks.

Man I was just about to pull the trigger on a magnaflow or Borla **** and if that didnt make me happy i decided the Borla was the best sound for me and you have to go and put audio vids on here (Macho) and ill be damn that sounded so good, i am un able to get out from behind my desk ie "Im bonin" Those 0- 60, 40-100 vids have me very swayed to Corsa after I had finnaly eliminated them, curses....and it just happens to me the most expensive.. someone please tell me where Corsa is made like Italy, Germany.. ie not American so I can hate them....no....noone.....arrrrrrrrg.

What Nathan said^. He's so smart
plus it's the same exact kit I have! Its the Airaid MIT (the tube) along with the dry filter that drops into the stock airbox. BBP did their independent air intake test with only the Airaid MIT (modular intake tube--aka. Tube only, no filter) and it outperformed most of the other intakes which proves the restriction on the stock setup is in the intake-TUBE, NOT in the airbox or filter. Best part is its half the cost of all the others!Edit: oops I didn't see the following posts and realized you all pretty much said the same thing... Imaidiot..

not gonna happen this week or next. Just went and looked at my premium bumper a the paint shop. Will get put on within the next week. Then I have to get my exhaust done which will be another couple hundred bucks.

One more question before I buy it, how's the MPG with it? Plus would the SLP dual tips be a good combo with it? I wanna do them both at the same time.

I have the set up you are planning on right now.
I have the Airaid MIT and the SLP tips.
Heck even my truck is Grey. (Which alone adds 10 HP over the other colors).
I have only had my MIT about a week. I can report back in about a "tank-fill".
I love my SLP tips. Hard as balls to keep clean though. Road Tar etc.....
I don't know if it is me, but since I have removed my resonator and then recently added the MIT, my stock muffler seems to be getting louder, in a hoarse type way.
My theory is that since there is less restriction upstream ie. (Resonator is removed) more silencing pressure/burden is placed on the muffler itself. Thus causing it to become louder.
Then again I just need to take meds.

RollTide2, just an idea: if your torn on which to get, why not spend the extra $35 and buy the Jr.? Then you have an air filter for when your stock/or current air filter needs to be replaced. That's what I did. I'm still technically running just the MIT right now because I haven't installed the dry Airaid filter that comes in the Jr. kit (my stock filter is barely used, since we purchased our 2011 brand new last December).
