I've got them from Speedtechlights.com... They are 80 watt I believe and plenty bright enough. I have 2 in the DRL slots and plan to put them in that side part of the headlight

Who has strobes? Where are they, and where did you get them from!!

I got mine from here...http://www.lshlights.net

I have/had two 90 watt six bulb kits, six in the front and six in the rear. The reason I say had is I got pissed one day and took out the power supplies but the bulbs are still in I just gotta get around to putting them back.

Long story short....my trans started acting up not long ago and it crossed my mind for some stupid reason to trade my HOE in and just get rid of it. But I found out I still had time left on my extended warranty and two days after I jumped the gun and snatched them out my HOE was in the shop getting the trans rebuilt.

Dunno what you are lookin to use them for but whelen makes the best setups. I build the occasional Chief's truck at work and well we tend to use whelen for all of our lighting. Being a Voli I have a 90watt 6 pack in my Z28 and once I bite the bullet and buy the Z71 she will have a strobe setup also. I strong recomendation is if you are only doin it for show Whelen just started releasing LED strobe kits... much lower current draw. Just be prepared to drill a 1" hole where you want to add the strobes.

I have got four. Two in the side of the headlights, and two in the reverse lights.

what do you need them for?

x2 on the whelen

I used them for show at events, car shows and sometimes just for fun when there's no cops in view.
They're legal (where I am) as long as the vehicle is parked and your not using them in traffic etc.

I agree with ya there. If you use them alot then spend the little extra and buy a whelen kit... you can find a ton of them on Ebay for good prices.

I used to hear stories of a crew up in washington that has two black tahoes with strobes and they would pull over and rob mules coming down from BC.

Here is a crappy vid of my Z28's lights. Camera couldnt catch the pattern correctly.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GryzLvHEyuA

The headlights have clear strobe tubes and the corner lights have blue strobe tubes. Thats a Whelen 690 pack... supposed to have two clears in the back but just didnt install them. The Dash light and two grill lights are Blue/White LEDs. Just for an example for ya.
