Yea the front's already got em off and it looks 10x beter IMO as you can now see the aggressive tread without the mud flaps in the way. Can't WAIT to get the rear ones off tomorrow! Another member on here had a slick kit for sale and I PM'd him an offer and he never got back to me... not really sure though as i'm torn between doing a slick kit or just sucking it up and doing it the REAL way which is get the complete Escalade EXT third brake light and the actual sail panels that are color matched (like how Micah's Avy came stock basically). That's way down the road though as that won't be a cheap mod.

I got the rims and tires from two different eBay sellers after going back and forth on price matching certain websites online. He has my exact tires on eBay for $1847 buy it now and we ended up with $1570 shipped so I'd say I came out on top on that one. No tax and free shipping saved a LOT of money. I just got everything mounted & balanced at Discount Tire which cost $104... didn't actually buy anything there lol.

4wheelparts.com has a store in Denver and they "price match" but include the cost of shipping even though they carry the tire in stock. To mount and balance the toyo 33's over there plus the cost of the tire, they wanted $1890 after tax. I paid $1674 by buying on eBay and getting the mounting and balancing done at Discount Tire Direct.

The rims I got them down to $1310 when it should've cost at LEAST $1570 after TPMS/Lugs/Center caps. I researched and haggled for a week or two before pulling the trigger. The end result was saving roughly $500+ so I'd say doing my online research and price comparisons was worth it.

I retract about what I said about the width of your tires vs mine because I just looked it up on a Tire Calculator and yours is a 12.01 width with an overall diameter of 31.61. Whereas I'm at 12.50 and 33.00... I guess it's because of the 2.5" leveling kit I put on?

I guess so. Just be careful at full lock.

There is absolutely 0 rubbing now. It was rubbing on both passenger side and driver side front wheels on the wheel liners, and also on the driver side front mudflap. I trimmed up the wheel liners and took off both front mud flaps and now there's no rubbing... I also checked to make sure it didn't rub on sway bars and turned the wheel at full lock in drive and in reverse.

1.5" rear spacers just got installed. I also took advantage of the wheels in the rear being off so I could take the mud flaps off. Now trying to decide if I want to take off the valance/air dam and the running boards to make it "appear" higher...

Looks awesome, I say remove the boards, dam, de-badge and de-mold.

Maybe just start with a de-badge, I would hold off on the de-mold

I wonder if the slick kit wouldn't be more common/cheaper now that they offer it from the factory for both EXT and Avalanche (certain colors). This includes the 3rd brake as well.

Are these pieces to cover the plastic sails with smooth and body color?

I like it as is now...with running boards, trim, and emblems. I never thought agressive/classy was possible at the same time, but we are looking at it. I can't stop staring at the pics. Looks GREAT

Everything you listed I'm thinking of doing except de-mold. I bought those LTZ/Denali 09+ moldings as soon as I got the Avy actually. The bottom part of the front bumper cover isn't a smooth line if you remove the valance so I'm gonna have to find a solution to that issue before taking it off. Running boards I might do but will post locally on CL and see if I can just get someone to buy them so I won't have to store em. And as far as debadging I think might take care of that tomorrow...

I would love the setup you got Micah, just not sure of all the parts I'd need. They make an aftermarket slick kit too but I'd rather oem Esky ext parts

Thanks bro! It's different and not often done as some people don't think it's practical and say they don't have enough sidewall with 22" rims but honestly I think it's an extremely similar ride to my 305/50 Nitto terra grapplers on 20's. It is surprisingly smooth for this type of setup.

I'm also glad the rear 1.5" lift spacers were compatible with the whole AutoRide setup in the rear as I wasn't sure if that would be an issue or not.
