delphi FG0088. it carries design improvements. dephi supplies delco under delco name. delphi is the factory installed part.

I just found a Ac pump for my 03 for 179.98 to my door on eday. Mr. Fuel Pump out of Fl may want to check out there store. Got pump today and ordered tuesday.

hdrock, i would not get the $140 delphi unit from rock auto. it claims to be a wholesale private label close out with a 30 day warranty. something about that does not sound like a smart bu. stick with getting it from amazon. delphi normally issues a 12 month warranty.

Do not get the airtex. Delphi.
Make sure the new pump comes with the harness.

how does your old one look?

My old one looks pretty gunked up.
After I got it out I beat on it withe a screwdriver handle to See if it would free up, then hookup wires, turned key, no go, I do have power to the connector.
Question: Is the pump itself replaceable ?
I looked At Car-Part.com and apparently they don't sell fuel pump at the JY
Not sure I would want buy one there but I looked

Ya I never bought a part from Rock with that type of designation before , so I was going to investigate further before I ordered, It is the same part number.

Spectra (aka SPI) makes some decent stuff, radiators, condensers, compressors, etc. I'd think the same goes for their fuel pumps, but honestly I don't know. When I worked in auto parts I was told Carter was actually the OE supplier for GM. That was as per Carter. The parts company I worked for had a policy of only carrying and selling parts that meet or exceed OE quality. They carried Carter. Additionally, in 3½ years of working at the business I only sold Carter fuel pumps. Rarely did I have one come back for warranty (~80% of my sales were b2b). When I did have one come back the customer would go through a few of them and tell me how they were junk only to come back and say the problem was actually something else on the car that would cause the pump to fail or an idiot technician.

Again, this was just my experiences.
