Looks great!!!!

Glad you got a great deal on them. I am also in a search for a nice cheap set of 20's for mine.

Also I would leave the bowties and remove the billet grill and it would look perfect IMO.

Thanks for the compliments guys! :Handshake:

Jd08....deals are definitely out there on nice rims if you keep your eyes open and don't mind putting in some elbow grease to clean them up a little bit.

These started out like this....

And I polished them up and turned them into...

Much better, I would not colormatch the bowties, but go either black or a dark gunmetal gray and ditch the billet grille. If you go with a LTZ grill then you will need to do the chrome mirror caps, door handles, and moldings...I think the grill alone will look out of place.

I'll give you my impressions about the billet grill...

Leave it. The wheels are reminiscent of a hot rod-style. Billet goes well with that theme. To remove the billet and/or add grey accents as some have indicated would really mix up the theme you have going on. That is just my personal opinion, I think it looks perfect right now with the stance and overall look, and overaccentuating it would be.. well, overkill for lack of better terminology.

So you think even getting stock bowties and color matching them wouldn't improve it?

I have found it intriguing to here everyone's opinions on this subject. It's obvious we all have very different tastes :) I am a "hot rod" style kinda guy which is probably what attracted me to the 948's :)

Nice choice in rims burb! I vote leave the billet but get black bowties.

Oh and your bumper is too far off the ground...

Thanks, Biggins :Handshake: I am at the beginning stages of thinking about going with a 2/4 drop from Tony. We'll see where that thought process goes. I wanna get a BB tune next so that'd be first for sure :)

The black bowtie comment brings up a question, though, as several of you have mentioned this looking good and I'm curious as to why you think that so I want insight into the thought process since my ride is not black.

Why do some of you think a black bowtie would look good when there is no black on my ride other than running boards, the mirror plastics and my window tint? IMO, it'd look out of place on my ride but may be my perspective is off base

Im in the process of getting a BB tune too, I can't wait!

As far as the black bowties, I just like black bowties on NNBS rides regardless of the color of the rig.

Black bowties would look ridiculous, I don't understand the cosmetic upgrade that black bowties would give the overall look. If anything they should be color matched or leave as is, IMO it would look good either way, but black is, well black just won't look good . . .

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their bowties but by the content of their vehicle.
